The day I finally took down one of Draftkings biggest tournaments.

It seems like a lifetime ago that I fell in love with fantasy sports. My love affair, like most, started with watching football and talking junk to my friends every Sunday.

As I watched my carefully sculpted fantasy football teams embarrass my opponents, I had no idea where this adventure was going to take me.

Next thing I knew, I was drafting a team in the penthouse of the Pennsylvania Hotel in NYC and getting interviewed by Kay Adams on Sirius Radio.

All of this happened before I even downloaded the Draftkings app.

If you’ve ever played daily fantasy sports…

Validate yourself.

As a post-grad developer, the battle with imposter syndrome is a serious struggle for me.

Like everyone else, I often get asked: “So, what do you do for work?”

Only to respond timidly, “Ummm, I’m a software developer.”

Mind you; I have created all kinds of amazing things with a computer. I have spent hours upon hours solving complex problems. And, my profile ( seems pretty great to me! Why can I not look someone in the eyes and tell them what I do with confidence?

Out of all the walls you run into while learning how to code, imposter syndrome seems to be the insurmountable one.

No matter how many stunning websites you build…
